Terrorists Behead American On Video

Recommended Posts

i am totally aghast by this "solution" you proffer, which is fanatical in it's own right....therefore you should be killed along with the rest of the fanatics.

doesn't seem viable unless the Constitution is done away with....

get real, thats all I have to say about that. I guess because I like to have police officers roaming the streets that makes me fanatical. These people are trying to kill us, you and me. If someone shoots at me I want them dead, I was shot at on 9/11, I expect us to finally shoot back. Some people are just not rehabilitatable, once you realize that you will accept the fact that some people just have to die Edited by one2gamble

QUOTE (Angela @ May 13 2004, 05:34 PM)

i pray everynignt for my president, my leaders, my country

Really?

Why would you question her on this?

I'm not questioning her.

I'm asking her a question.

Big difference.

OK... My mistake..

Why would you ask her this question?

OK....

You have circled the wagons around Angela. She has said her piece

Now let me ask.... WHat do we do differently then what we are doing now. And please get into details. Not just.... "Lets pull everyone out" or Lets nuke a country".

Tell me how your solution stops terrorism.

I am not taking sides but I see what side Angela is on. THat is very clear.... What side is everyone circling her on?

Your right. Angela has been fighting a bit of a lonely battle! It appears that she is being picked on. I don't mean to do that, I am just trying to comprehend her views and set forth an argument as to why I think what she is proposing will only lead to more deaths on both sides.

I don't have all the answers. I don't pretend to. I have only hopes. I hope that people will open their eyes and open their minds. I hope that the terrorists will stop killing innocent civilians. I hope our military stops torturing prisoners. I hope that the people of Iraq have a secure, peaceful and free future for generations to come.

As for stopping terrorism? That's very difficult. For some people on our side, even if there is never again a single terrorist atrocity, there will still be a desire to bomb 'em all. On the terrorists side, even if America did exactly what Bin Laden wants, whatever that may be, some will still want to strap bombs to themselves and blow up buildings or buses etc.

We've spoken before about finding the middle ground. I, probably foolishly, believe that a middle ground can be found here as well. I believe that there are more people who want to see an end to fighting than there are who want to see it continue. What we must do is seize the opportunity before this balance of opinion shifts the other way.

Immediate things to do would be hand power over to the Iraqis, hand security over to the UN and get the hell out of there. Yes it's our mess and yes we should fix it, but having our troops over there is simply adding fuel to the fire. Send supplies, send aid send advice so the people and non-coalition members can fix what we have broken, but don't send more soldiers.

Secondly, this whole thing stems from the Israel/Palestine issue. And I'm talking about muslim terrorists, not the invasion of Iraq. This issue must be dealt with. A compromise and lasting peace must be found, to the satisfaction of the majority on both sides. This is of course extremely hard, but my sincere belief is that while the conflict in the Middle East rumbles on, America and the rest of the western world will continue to pay the price for it.

Kill them all and sort them out later attitude puts one on a terrorists level. Down in the dirt with them on their level so to speak. Extremists all get whats coming to them in the end one way or another. I just hope the innocent people are fast enough to dodge the bullets. :blank:

Sidenote: Does this thread require a body guard now or can folks not still ask and answer questions for themselves? Just wondering. :)

Sorry to say but the President of the USA is a complete idiot.  He means one thing and contradicts himself when he says another thing, and to think he said God chose him to be President  , what an idiot.

That is what I think of Mr. Bush :tdn: .

Coming from a Socialist run country your response doesn't suprise me :mrsgreen:

They can... And I did

Not my fault if she chooses not to reply. If it were me, I wouldnt reply. I personally dont see any relevance and "almost" see it as a way to attack again.

Funny How some people will ask a question just to antagonize. I am not saying this is one of those but It's been know to happen. Good self control is needed in those cases

I asked and since your sidenote says folks should be able to ask and answer questions... I asked

I don't like Mr. Bush and I'm not doing cart wheels over our P.M. either, Stinger. According to the latest polls, approx. half (give or take a couple of percentage points) of a conservatively run country don't like Mr. Bush, that being the U.S.

Thank you for replying Angela.

What was a simple question has been built up into something quite sinister for some reason.

I personally pray every day although I eschew conventional churches I still believe in God.

I didn't know whether you were saying that you prayed for your President and your country for effect to strengthen your argument or if you really did.

Personally I find it very unusual to pray for a politician.

That's all.

Hurdy, It's probably the same as praying for the Queen in a church of England service. Angela's church would pray for the President as head of state.

If I were a believer I would probably pray for our leaders right now too. They need all the help they can get at this moment in time.

U.S. intelligence officials have concluded that terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was the person shown beheading Berg, based on an analysis of the voice on the video, a CIA official said, speaking on condition of anonymity

A U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Berg was detained by Iraqi authorities ''for his own protection'' because his behavior in Mosul seemed unusual for a Westerner.

He had been seen traveling in taxis and moving about the dangerous city without any escort, the official said. He added that Berg, who was Jewish, had in his possession texts that were ''anti-Semitic'' in tone, the official said without elaborating.

In his e-mail quoted by the Times, Berg guessed the FBI agents in Mosul had questioned him about Iran because he was carrying some literature in Farsi and a book about Iran.

He also wrote that U.S. military police who were supervising the Iraqi police had heard some of his fellow prisoners referring to him as an Israeli and suggested he be moved to a separate cell

There are some strange circumstances starting to come out about what was going on over there with him... I wonder if anyone will ever get to the truth about what actually was happening? :erm:

I hate to say it, and I really wish not to believe it, but there is stuff coming out that makes poor Nick Berg look like he was used as a sacrificial lamb to take the focus off of the torture.

Lynndie England has a kid, dag, I guess my diesel :filtered: detector is not working.

Angie, will you pray for Kerry when he is your president next year?

And to tell you all the truth, I trust the American government (whether run by donkeys or elephants) about as much as I would trust a junkie to not steal my smack.

They lie to us every damn day. They only admit a bit of truth when the media stone cold busts them. But then again. the media is mostly run by the Jewish.

Think about it, people:

When 500 Palestinians get killed by Sharon, that's maybe page 7.

When Israel elects its PM, that is the top headline in every American paper.

I want peace. Maybe peace can't be achieved in the Mideast, and if so, I want America to stay out of that region forever.

But I still hope for peace, and that doesn't mean "kill all the towelhead animals", or vice versa, "kill all Americam imperialist dogs" (their point of view)

Peace comes through honest negotiations and compromises. But first, the terrorists should be deposed from power. Yes, we got Saddam, and look at the joy our soldiers live in.

OK, Saddam is gone, but there are more terrorists that need to go.

Arafat

Sharon

bin Laden

Bush

It will take a major change in foreign policy to dispose of the first three, but the last one is easy, and we need no war and carnage to do it. Just vote no to Bush. He is just as much of a terrorist as any terrorist. He is for the Patriot Atrocity.

Put it this way: I would rather get blown up in a tower by jets, or have my head cut off, than live in a totalitarian state that Bushcroft Corp. wants to create. I would rather suffer the pain of beheading than be forced by Megalomerican soldiers to become gay while complete scumbags (yes, American scumbags) film it for their twisted jollies.

I don't hate my country, but I hate my current government.

Americans, we can take out a terrorist without any war. We can vote Bush out of office.
