Do We Have Any Gm Dealership Mechanics

Recommended Posts

signman

if the work was done at a gm garage then take it back

talk to the service manager

and if they put it on the ticket that they made the adjustments to the timing .

i would ask them just what in the hell they did lol

but i think your problem was caused by the parts changer that worked on it .

not going to call them mech.by a long way lol

take it back if they don`t want to fix it .call the gm service center for customer support ,and make it very plain to them .that they messed it up .

if the dealer you took it to doesn`t want to fix it get it in writing .but try back with them first them take it to a different dealer, keep all papers and gm will work to get this straight .

Allen, sorry about the typo, it is a 3.4 liter. TW2, they just said on the invoice reset to factory settings.. They don't say what they reset.

Cougar, thanks for the link to that. I will check it out. I just thought that since this was a "general discussion" area and according to the directions written under the heading of general discussion on the main page it says "talk about any topic other than computers". So this was "other than computers topic". I didn't realize this topic would generate so many responses! Anyway, I will end it here and say "thank you" to everyone who responded to it.
