Ajax error returned: timeout save StabilityTests.asp

Recommended Posts

I haven't been able to run a full scan, it always stops at scanning the drivers and throws this notification at me:

Ajax error returned: timeout save StabilityTests.asp

Not sure what to do, only other thing related to this when Googled is this:

Unfortunately, there are no real solutions and the OP did not let us know the solution.

Maybe a fresh install would work?

So, I managed to get it working, but I am not sure what fixed it. I'll explain:

I did everything as they asked until step 5. I tried opening PC Matic but I got this symbol as can be seen on this link: https://forums.pcpitstop.com/topic/207054-cannot-open-pc-pitstop-endless-loading-loop/?tab=comments#comment-1813693

So, I just decided to uninstall and have a fresh install. I restarted my computer and booted the program up. I started a scan (note, without unchecking the three problem areas you stated, as I forgot) but everything seems to be running normally.

These are the instructions provided:

Quote

1) Press the Windows logo key and the S key at the same time.

2) This will bring up a search box. Type "Command Prompt" (without the quotes) into the search box but do not press enter

3) Right click on the Command Prompt icon that appears in the search results window and choose "Run as Administrator" from the drop down menu.

A black box will pop up on the screen with a flashing prompt.

4) Type or copy and paste the following command then press enter

ipconfig /flushdns

Once you have done this, type and copy and paste the next command, then press enter

netsh int ip reset

type and copy and paste the next command, then press enter

netsh winsock reset

5) Next, you will need to change the scan options on PC Matic.

Open PC Matic, and click the "Options" icon.

You will want to turn off "Scan Benchmarks", "Update Drivers", and "Optimize Internet Settings"

Also, change the "Rated Bandwidth" setting to <1mbps

6) Once you have done that, click "Save" then exit the options menu.

7) Close PC Matic, and restart your computer << Very Important

😎 When the computer is powered back on, try another scan with PC Matic.

Hopefully this helps someone in the future and thanks to the PCMatic team!

God bless!
