netflix

Every time I go to my netflixs  page  I get error. I redownloaded the page and still get and error. They suggest reaching out to you guys.

What is the error that you are seeing?

 

Do you get an error if you go to:  https://www.netflix.com/ ?

I suspect she is getting the same error I am.  Error Code: H7053-1803.  The error doesn't prevent access to Netflix... but it does prevent viewing of videos within Netflix. 

 

The Neflix Support page troubleshooting grid advises the following...

 

Note the last question (if all else fails)…  MIne didn't start working after following instructions, but it worked fine before I installed pcmatic… I'm skeptical of "coincidence"...

 

 

Restart your browser

  1. Quit your browser.

  2. Relaunch your browser.

  3. Try Netflix again.

Clear browser data

Note:
Performing the steps below will clear Internet Explorer's saved login data.
  1. Open Internet Explorer and select the gear icon aee7184c-c65d-46e2-91b9-6dd516a55f0f_ico.

  2. Select Internet Options.

  3. Select Browsing History.

  4. Select Delete.

  5. Check Cookies and Website Data.

  6. Uncheck Preserve favorite website data.

  7. Select Delete.

  8. Try Netflix again.

Delete the Indexed DB files

  1. Restart your computer.

  2. Press and hold the Windows key + R on your keyboard. This displays the Run window.

  3. Type %userprofile%/appdata and select OK.

  4. Open the Local folder.

  5. Open the Microsoft folder.

  6. Open the Internet Explorer folder.

  7. Delete the Indexed DB folder.

  8. Try Netflix again.

Perform Windows updates

Windows 7

  1. Press the Windows Key on the keyboard.

  2. In the search box, type Windows Update.

  3. Select Windows Update.

  4. Select Check for updates.

  5. Select Install updates.

  6. Once the updates are installed, restart your computer and try Netflix again.

 

Windows 8

  1. Go to the Charms Menu by pressing the Windows Key + C.

  2. Select Search.

  3. Select Everywhere from the drop-down menu.

    • If you do not have a drop-menu continue to step 4.

  4. Search for WUAPP.

  5. Select the WUAPP App.

  6. Select Check for Updates.

  7. Select Install Important Updates.

  8. Once the updates are installed, restart your computer and try Netflix again.

 

Windows 10

  1. Press the Windows Key on the keyboard.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Select Update & security.

  4. Windows will check for updates. If it does not, select Check for updates.

  5. Once the updates are installed, restart your computer and try Netflix again.

Do you have PC Matic software installed?

Sometimes the PC Matic software can interfere with the player Netflix uses to play TV shows and movies.

  • Quit PC Matic and play your TV show or movie again.

  • If a TV show or movie resumes after you've quit PC Matic, this may indicate that the software is outdated or unintentionally preventing Netflix from playing. Please reach out to the PC Matic software manufacturer to address these issues.

I saw that the developers are looking at this issue when going to Netflix in the Edge browser.

 

Is this the browser that you are using when the issue occurs?

 

Are you having the same issue in any other browser(s)?
