Super Shield prevents CompanionLink Service and App from running

Recommended Posts

This is a new problem on my machine. I've been running PC Matic for years and I've been running CompanionLink for almost as long. With Super Shield enabled, the CompanionLink background service will not exchange calendar entries with Gmail. Also, the CompanionLink management application will not open. PC Matic is silent about preventing CompanionLink from running; no override dialog is shown as is done with other applications; there is no chance to add CompanionLink to the white list. This sounds similar to the Netflix problem that was posted in August, but My problem did not occur until a few weeks ago in November.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

Bob

If you pause Super Shield for 10 minutes through the taskbar icon> Protection Level> Pause for 10 minutes

Does the application then perform properly?

If so, please identify on which computer this occurs (if you have more than 1) and open a ticket for the helpdesk personnel to have a closer look.

You can open a ticket from here:

PC Matic Help Desk

Thank you

:) Y
