Here are a couple pics of reflection through a pinhole in a piece of paper.

When it was completely covered, there wasn't enough light to make a projection, but when I took a picture of the sun with the little ring around it, it just comes out like I took a picture of the sun.

At least they are all going together... as in the same direction... sort of. Here is I-5 headed back to California on the south side of Salem.

and here is 5 miles north of Salem headed back to Washington

Obviously, Salem was in the blackout area.

Here is by our ranch in Eastern Oregon. These folks headed back to Washington probably don't know that I often drive that stretch of road and maybe see a dozen other vehicles over a 60 mile stretch of road... and that's like opening weekend of hunting season. There's more cars on the road right now than that area sees in a year.

I had a special pair of glasses, watched it off and on till it went total.

I like being a part of history...it went over us and when it went into total eclipse, AMAZING

Well that was unexpected.

The pictures I posted from Trip Check apparently update everytime this page loads... so some of the traffic I talked about no longer exists.

I'm not crazy... there were a line of cars there before.

Scouts honor, I DID NOT question your sanity... much... well maybe a little, ok... ok... I thought maybe you had permanently lost the plot or spent a little too long looking directly at the eclipse :yikes:

We watched the whole thing from our front porch ... with 'approved eclipse' glasses.

This came in from the Oregon coast:
