CB down

Recommended Posts

Well all my machines have decided to go down while I'm incapacitated and in rehab. My wife knows nothing about PC's except how to turn them on, so, until I can get home I guess that my PPD will be non-existant...

Don't believe so, I've got a bad breaker in one power box that needs replaced and my main rig downstairs, every time the anti-malware updates then it shuts down my Folding. I have to "trick" it so I can run...

Well, I had purchased a new/used R9 280x and put in one rig...yesterday the whole rig went down. I either need a new PSU, CPU or mobo, or all the above.

Shazbot!!!

Somehow we gotta get you away from those ATI cards though I gotta say I just had a borderline nightmarish experience with a new EVGA card so it works both ways.... :)

First of all, I'm alive and well!

Now to the crux of the matter, my main rig is not totally down but will not even try to Fold on my vid cards. it's been crashing for the last couple of days and I've been noticing that it's a "bugcheck" that resorts to a video error. Today I've tried re-installing drivers and tried new drivers but it will NOT Fold. Soooo, till I get Zuhl3156 paid off for some parts I'll only be Folding on one machine and praying that there's nothing wrong with either of my Nvidia cards.

p.s. I'm of the opinion that this is a direct result of a problem I had a couple of months or so ago and I suspected a PCI-E slot was at fault. ;)
