Y kawika Report post Posted February 4, 2016 Our friends over at Bleeping Computers are under attack because SpyHunter is claiming that a post by a volunteer is motivated by driving sales away from them. An opinion about a software product! On a public forum where the makers of SpyHunter are just as free to put forth their own opinions and/or defend their product on the open boards if they wished. Their choice instead is to produce a SLAPP suit against the forum owner. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/announcement/frivolous-lawsuits/help-bleepingcomputer-defend-freedom-of-speech/ Personally, I believe that Enigma is shooting themselves in the foot, because win or lose, their tactics in "defending" their product are less than noble (to put it nicely) and they are tarnishing their own reputation more than the opinion of a volunteer on an open forum ever could. caintry_boy Report post Posted February 4, 2016 Who wants to use a product made by Enigma Software anyway?? I hope Bleeping Computer can pull through this unscathed. They've got a nice place over there.
