Need help please!

I'm looking to purchase a refurbished desktop for less than $100 for my Brother's birthday and I am needing it to be wireless enabled. I am sharing a link with this post of something I have my eye on, but it says WiFi/wireless: "Not Included," in the specs. Does this mean that it is not wireless enabled? Thank you!

Could I ask one more quick favor? Could someone please take a quick look at any of these $99 dollar offers to see if there is one with wireless. I have to order by midnight.

If it's listed as WiFi/wireless "Not Included" that means there is no wireless built in or included with the machine. You could still add wireless with a USB adapter or for desktop a PCI/PCIe card (depending on which is available on the machine).

The first one you show at eBay (Dell Optiplex) might be able to be upgraded if need be, but looks like it has low end components. Specifically the single core Intel P4 CPU. The ones you see at Newegg some appear to be dual core CPUs, which, would be a better bargain for your money.

I'm a bit confuse by that eBay listing as it says 1 year warranty, but then there's only 30 day return period. I'd probably pass on that one myself. I'll have to look them up and see if I can find any details if they are reputable... I actually live about 15 miles south of where they are, but can't say I've ever heard of them.

Those ones at Newegg I don't believe have wireless built in, most desktops don't. But it would be very easy to add wireless with a USB adapter.

I'd also add that a lot of the DELLs are low profile so normal PCIe card will not fit; so they become expensive to upgrade.

I'm sure there are other alternatives.
