Supershield is your anti-virus program, so no need to install another.

I'm sure that you will find your rig running a bit snappier with the removal of the McAfee bloat.

We are in the process of getting SuperShield added to the Microsoft list of recognized security products. In the meantime, you can follow the instructions from Microsoft for ending the message you are seeing. A link to those instructions are here:




In Windows 7 the Security Center has been renamed the Action Center. For Windows 7 go to Start>Control Panel>Action Center>Change Action Center Settings and remove the check mark from Security Messages>Virus Protection then click OK.
