On the flip side, we're losing team members faster than we're gaining members...lets see if we can't round up some folks, old or new.

50 Million was unatainable back in 03 when I first started Folding for 200 points per week. We have come a long way. Thanks for the support from all of you.

Takes about 4 days to complete the 7 million step WUs on this machine, nice points for the work though.

Can get the smaller 250k step units done about 1 per day.

I can't wait to get my quad core machine up and running.

My biggest concern at this point is that I still have not yet got to change out the bad capacitor on this AOpen P4 mobo. Seems that 1 bad cap is enough to be like cancer to a computer... 2 more just started venting off the other day :yucky:

Kinda surprised I made it to 10k on this old dying P4 machine :P

thanks terry, I would have just made the repair myself on my Asus M4N78 Pro.. but the problem is a few missing pieces from the reverse side of the board. looks like part of the chipset circuit, so that would explain why the board would not POST even though it's never been used. (also explains why my friend was willing to give it for free )

not too hard to change capacitors and such if you have basic soldering knowledge.. but not easy to replace those tiny little ones. so best leave that to the repair center and hope that's the only problem.

I've got just about everything all prepared here though to repair this AOpen board. So probably when next WU finishes I'll shut down to pull the mobo and get it all fixed up.
