Dakeyras Report post Posted January 22, 2011 Perhaps,if not,the foremost Rock Trio. With Bubbles and Ed for back up. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDRPtg0kmJU&feature=related A classic indeed! I have not been into music that much for quite some time but always liked a good heavy metal band/rock and was a KISS fan for a number of years and liked various others from 'Maiden to Qween. Recently discovered Nickleback...I actually like them being honest. Another discovery of mine(well about two years ago when looking for something completely different) Warmen, the instrumentals is absolutely outstanding and one of the best I have listened to in over twenty years! http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=_M_KIOQLkbk

stormy13 Report post Posted January 29, 2011 Saw Streetheart as the opening act for these guys, back in the early 80's. And Rush definitely did something right, my 11 year old son plays them all the time.

chengrob Report post Posted February 5, 2011 When I analyze all of the bands that I have seen in concert, I think Lynyrd Skynyrd is in the top 5. I only saw this band in concert one time but they are definitely one of my favorites.
Humbluemoon Report post Posted February 5, 2011 BTO...some great Winnipeg music. They're still playing...but can't use the BTO tag for legal reasons. The Guess Who was a monster band for talented musicians.
chengrob Report post Posted February 6, 2011 The common denominator between BTO and Guess Who is Randy Bachman. Here's a Guess Who song. They have so many great ones that it was hard to pick one.
Humbluemoon Report post Posted February 12, 2011 (edited) Tom Cochrane looks pretty 80's trendy, but of course went on beyond "Red Rider" to do many great songs himself. I always liked this one. White Hot and As Far As Siam are both nice as well. and if your just surfing there's no harm in a little: Edited February 12, 2011 by Humbluemoon
