Bootable Flash Drive

Recommended Posts

Here is a great link to easily create a bootable USB flash drive to install Windows. You could probably customize it for other operating systems too. I have tried it on Windows 7 and XP and it installs in 45 minutes. From a DVD it takes an hour or more.

Please note that you must have a computer that has the ability to boot from USB.

Are you sure this will work with 64-bit editions with Windows 7? And does "normal" file copy always work most of the time?

Yes it works on all editions of Windows 7 and I have done it on 4 flash drivs so far and it always works for me.
