PC restarts when running PC Pitstop Optimize2

Recommended Posts

:wp:

Please try this:

Go to My Computer>C:\>Program Files>PC Pitstop>Optimize2>Support and click on Repair-ActiveX.cmd to repair the Active X control.

Then go to Start>Programs>PC Pitstop>Optimize2>uninstall Optimize2 and run the uninstaller. (If the uninstaller is missing or broken, go to My Computer>C:\>Program Files>PC Pitstop> and manually delete the Optimize2 folder.)

Once that completes, go to My Computer>C:\>Program Files>PC Pitstop>Optimize2 and verify that the Optimize2 folder is gone. Reboot the computer.

Now do a reinstall with a new copy of Optimize2 from here:

Please let us know if this does not help.

I am having the same problem and followed all of the directions given above and I still have this problem. Wanted to try a program to optimise my PC thats actually supposed to work but I can't decide on the program if it's not going to work at all.
