IE Monster/Antivirus Virus 08/09

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm somewhat unfamiliar with posting in forums, hope I'm following the rules. My computer seems to be badly infected, my desktop background just changed and pop ups and fake antivirus messages are popping up. Help would be greatly appreciated. I tried Stopzilla, but that didnt work either.

I just did the HJ and here is the copied log;

Hello there..I can tell you certainly have some issues but I'm afraid you will have to post your log here and wait for a 'Trusted HJT Advisor' to help with the cleanup of your computer. Don't bump that topic as it will only make your wait even longer. Good luck.

~You should try some scans in safe mode..Super AntiSpyware, A-Squared, and at least one Antivirus scan would be helpful.. Stopzilla is a bad program-I had the paid version and recently removed it..too many false positives and poor detection rates make it pretty useless.
