Test your internet speed

Recommended Posts

I have been to a bunch of internet speed test sites, But this one has the coolest features I have seen yet, give it a try. http://www.speedtest.net/

Excuse my ignorance, but which link do you click on to actually perform the test?

That's pretty good, I get 1320kb/s down and 318kb/s up. And every day it goes out for a couple of hours.

there's a difference between kb/s and kB/s. The site measures in Kb/s or kilobits per second, while you see your download speed in kiloBytes per second or kB/s. One byte=8 bits. It's confusing

Since I'm too lazy to take a screenshot, I'll just post my results

Downloads: 6470kbps

Uploads: Couldn't test it due to firewall, and laziness.
