Not speed fan or MBM??

You mean you don't want them, or they don't work for you?

MBM is kind of old, and some MBs just can't be monitored by it.

If you mean you just want one to be in sys tray, run speed fan,

set it for what you want, and click minimize. You will now have

the CPU temp on the tray. Mouse over and it gives you all temps.

Click and open speedfan back up.

What more you want??

It's a free Widget sits quietly on the Desktop and shows the info you need.

Try here...

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Windows-Widgets/System-Utilities/System-Temp-Monitor.shtml

System Temp Monitor is a free widget that uses the log file created by the SpeedFan utility to display system temperature.

If you have or don't mind paying for it everest,

can do that as well. Also if you're running Vista, Everest has built-in Sidebar support.

Thanks guys, I just wanted some second opinions on the readouts I am getting from speedfan on one particular desktop.

I do use both speedfan and MBM5 on other pcs.
