"Trust Cleaner"

Recommended Posts

I'd like to add that users of IE-SPYADs are already protected from the website trustcleanerDOTcom, as it has been in the database since the month of April I believe.

And the SmithFraud fix by Siri has included files from TrustCleaner since May 30th, see here

The fix by Siri unfortunately targets only part of the infection and not all of it. There are at least 4 other folders, a toolbar, 2 bhos, and quite a few files installed by this infection that are currently not removed. I have already contacted Siri about this.

Funny thing, Grinler after seeing that in another email list, which we both are part of, I was coming back to add that, and also, that current MVPS hosts file does not have the related url in it's database, tho I am quite sure it will be in the next update.
