Optimizer vs Registry Mechanic

I have Registry Mechanic based on PitStop recommendation ... in looking at some of the output samples from Optimizer, they appear to be correcting similar things, but not completely identical. Do I need both?

Registry Mechanic is primarily a generalized Registry cleaner/repair tool.

 

Optimize is a performance tool that looks for very specific changes it can make in the registry to improve performance. But that is only a part of what it does overall.
