  1. Thanks 4 Understanding My Very Very Un4tunate Dilemma. I'll C U When My Comput's Up & Running Not Away, But Actually Up And Running ..... Should Be By Late Jan or Early Feb....Me Hopes, That Is.
  2. Juliet, I Did All Of What You Said To Do, i.e. When I "Restarted" My Computer, I Cant Get Back Into The Windows XP Platform Because Apparently The Man That Repaired My Comput, Had Placed His Own Windows Product Key Instead Of My Windows Product Key, So I Have To Take My Comput Over To Him On The Other Side Of The Island, To The City Of Yauco In Puerto Rico. That Should Happen On The 28th Of January. I'm Using My Wife's Laptop For Now, So Until Then, I'm Basically Up The River Without A Boat So I'll C-U After I'm Back On My Fixed PC So We Can Continue The Healing Of My Sick Computer. Until Then, Don't Take any Wooden Nickles, And As The Gov Of California Once Said, I'll Be Back
  3. Good Morning To You Juliet, How R-U2-Day ? WOW, Im Ready To Get Started , But I Can't Even Do The Very 1st Step Where You Said This, To deactivate Spyware Doctor's OnGuard Tools 1. From within Spyware Doctor, click the "OnGuard" button on the left side. 2. Uncheck "Activate OnGuard". You can reenable it once your system is clean. I Opened Up Spyware Doc On My Desktop & All I See On The "Left Side" Are these Rectangular Buttons. They Are, Status Start Scan IntelliGuard Tools And Lastly Settings Unless I'm a Looking In The Wrong "Left Side", I Cant Find What You Say To Look For. ============
  4. Hello Juliet, It's 9:05 PM Here In Hot & Beautiful Puerto Rico, I Just Saw This A Few Mins Ago & I Copied & Pasted It into Notepad My Printer Is Very very Low On Ink, As A Matter Of Fact It's Been On Empty Since 01 Jan 09. I Have a Major Thing To Do Tomorrow Morning, Refinace My House, & I'll Try & Get To This Dilema A.S.A.P. Thanks For Replying To My Post, Russ "09"
  5. Thanks "MME" For Everything You Sent & The Instructions + Links Etc. Etc. I Would Be Going Totally "Nutzoid" If I Had To Figure Out What In The Heck Is Wrong With My Comput Now...
  6. These Are The Results Of A Scan Performed On My Computer With The Problem Of A Pop Up Balloon Informing Me That My Computer Might Be At "Risk"i.e. Your Computer Might Be At Risk (Balloon) During A Normal Start Up, It Goes Thru The Programs I Want To Start Up, 11 In Total. After A Minute Or So Goes By, The 11 Programs Have Shown Up And I Have This “Pop Up” Balloon Informing Me That (Your Computer Might Be At Risk No Firewall Turned On, Click This Button To Fix The Problem) I Know This To Be A Fictional Because It Is Turned On. (Hmm’m Yes Or No)? When I “Click” The “Security Center “Shield” To Fix The Problem, By The Time The “Security Center” Opens Up (Because Its Still Loading / Starting Up) Either It’s To Late To Fix The Problem Cause The Indication Is Not There Yet, Or It Is Correct Already & Was Just Giving Me A “False Indication” That Something Was Wrong. Can Some Please Help Me Figure What In The Heck Is Wrong With My Comput? 7. Thanks 4 Everything That You Have Done So Far, I'd Be Pulling The Few Hairs I Have Left From My Head If Had 2 To Do That All By Myself. You Know Something, I Thought I Got Rid Of That Irksome Your Computer Might Be At Risk Balloon 4 Just 1, Count Em One Restart. Good God Was I A Happy Camper, But Alas When I Went 2-C If I Had Finally Gotten Rid Of It, It Poped Its Ugly Head Up Again. I Thought It Was Asscociated / Attached Itself With Files Named "ctfmon.exe " & "SIS Utility Tray", C:Windows\system32\SISTray.Exe But I Wasn't That Lucky. Again, Many Many Thanks 4 All U Have Done In Trying 2 Help Me & This Insane Little Prob Of Mine. Best Wishes 2-U & Urs, Russ52 "09"
  8. Thanks 4 All Of Ur Help Regarding This Unfortunate Matter/ Problem I'm Having With My Comput. When U say this copy & paste, clicking on your desktop takes you to a web page to get the software to "clean" it up, problem I Dont Follow You At All... & More When I Click on "My Desktop", Nuthin Happens When I "Right Click" On It Says "Arrage Icons By" Etc.Etc. Also, Is The "Link" That You Provided Below A Link To The "Hijack Section", & Exactly How Do I Send Them A "Link" To This Portion So They Can See What We've / Actually U Have Done Be-4 ?
  9. Got It, Am Running The Program Super antispyware Again Cause I Rebooted My Comput. Yes I Have System Restore Enabled As We Speak, so to say...
  10. Well I Ran The Three (3), Errrgh Four (4) Scans '8210GUY’…. 1st Full Scan By (a-squared Free,) Found 52 Total. 48 Were Just Minor Adware Annoyances 4 Were Serious Threats. All Were Deleted. 2nd Full Scan, By (Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware) Found A Total Of 4. Those Were Deleted As Well. 3rd Full Scan By (SUPERAntiSpyware) Found 118 Adware, + 6 Rouges & 2 Trojans. All Of Those Were 1st Quarantined & Then Deleted. 4th Scan Was The Eset (NOD32) Anti Virus Check & That Came Up With "0", El Zippo, Nada, & "Nuthin" For Viruses On This Comput. I Restated My Comput Each Time & The Your Computer Might Be At Risk Balloon Kept Popping It’s Now Very Ugly Head Up, So I Agree With You '8210GUY’ It’s Time To Try The WinPatrol Thing, Me Thinks… That Is.....
  11. Im Doing The Eset (NOD32) Thing As I Am Emailing This 2-U. I've Turned Off "Avast Anti Virus" In The Mean Time. I'll Let U Know The Resusts Of All The Scans Done So Far.
  12. Thanks Mucho For The WWW's To The Sites.. I Got The Three (3) Downloaded & Now I'll Run Them 1 @ A Time. I'll Try & Send The Results 2-U Later On, OK ? --- As Far As Feeling Sluggish, I'd Have To Say No It Doesn't. It's The "Start Up" Process That Seems "Sluggish". === I'll Give the Three (3) Finger Salute Later After I've Done The Tests, OK ?
  13. Thanks For The Info & I've Done The Tests To Check Out "Shields Up & Test Your Firewall". I Have To Admit That The Results Don't Look To Good... I'm About To At This Point. I Really Don't Understand When You Say To Do This; I suggest doing some scans to make sure theres nothing going on in the background Scan What & With What Exactly? I've Done A Anti-Virus Scan, A PC Doctor Scan & Both Have Come Up Clean.. Again Thanks For The Info + The Tests.
  14. Your Computer Might Be At Risk (Balloon) During A Normal Start Up, It Goes Thru The Programs I Want To Start Up, 11 In Total. After A Minute Or So Goes By, The 11 Programs Have Shown Up And I Have This “Pop Up” Balloon Informing Me That (Your Computer Might Be At Risk No Firewall Turned On Click This Button To Fix The Problem) I Know This To Be A Fictional Because It Is Turned On. Can Some Please Help ?
  15. Outstanding, It Finally Works, Instead Of & The Crap Out Of My Comput I Feel Like Having Me A , or Which Might Make Me Feel Kinda & & Eyed Considering The Fact That Im A Recovering Alchoholic & Havent Drank Any Or Alcohol For 4 Yrs Now..... Thanks Again Mark, Russ "09"
