  5. It's possible, try Photorec and I recommend setting up Google Photos on your android device and have it set to auto backup your pics when on wifi. This will save your bacon in the future and is free.
  6. Revo is a great tool, I use it all the time. That being said, it's possible because of the nature of the software being uninstalled, that they "protect" parts of it to keep malware from uninstalling it and leaving you vulnerable. If I were in your shoes, I'd use the AV vendor's tool to uninstall it, but that's your call. Tx

  8. Hey @Alecto and Thanks for your interest in our software! Generally speaking, a quick scan is all that's needed and is much quicker to complete than the full scan as it only looks in the places malware most commonly hides. That being said, the reason you would want to run a full scan is when PC Matic is detects something but it is not being removed or the detected item comes back repeatedly. In a situation as such, you want to run PC Matic in Safe mode with networking.
