Pacman: Many thanks as that link led to some help that eliminated most of that virus, etc. One problem: Now, when I log on in Normal Mode, my graphics still look as if I am logged on in Safe Mode. Web pages, videos etc Any suggestions as to what I may have lost/done wrong/failed to re-set, etc? Many thanks for your help, though, as much of that virus has now been eliminated.... benpike
  2. I've used PC! Click (as well as Microsoft Spyware) but cannot get rid of a virus I have. My screen reads as follows: "A fatal error in IE has occurred at 0028:COO11E36 in VXD MM,17.+" "The error is caused by Trojan-Spy.HTML.Smitfraud.c" (I assume they mean .com) "The system cannot function in normal mode." Please check your security setting." "Scan your PC with any available antivirus/spyware remover program to fix the program." Er, how "fatal" is "fatal" in this context? Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thank you.
