  1. Wireless Printing Problem

You may have a LAN address problem caused by DHCP when a PC is rebooted and another PC is off. I have an HP printer connected to router via ethernet and to avoid any address conflict via DHCP on my Belkin router, I have changed the DHCP assigned range to to 100 and keep to 5 for the router and printer etc. Note that my firewall has local zone set to to 100 to allow access to all on LAN. Try assigning a fixed address to your printer, say; should be possible to do this via printer interface.
  2. Acpi Multiprocessor Driver?

I think you should try reformat and reinstall WinXp but with HT enabled in bios first. Info is from you "About a month ago I had to reformat and reinstall windows. I had HT turned off on the mboard at the time."
  3. Ethernet Plugs

Try 7-dayshop since you're in UK. Here's link: http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/default.php?cat=9&type=9001&man=0&filterwords=&go=SEARCH&comp= If you want the best mains system, I use Devolo dlan200 AV wireless which also gives you wirelessN as well as ethernet.

  5. You can make protect a connection to any site you use a password on by installing Trusteer Rapport. Read info on link: http://www.trusteer.com/product/trusteer-rapport In UK banks are recommending this software.

  7. Network Recognized But I Cannot Get Online

Obvious answer to your problem is the wireless card has failed. Get a suitable USB one, a Linksys one would be best to match router. Maybe you can replace the card in laptop?
  8. Just remember to disable ethernet connection on a laptop/device before enabling WiFi card/connection.
  9. Q1: Yes you can. At present I have 3 laptops WiFi connected and 2 desktops and a printer ethernet connected to a Belkin router. Q2: Yes. WiFi speed depends on WiFi type you will be using; G is up to 56mbps and N is up to 300mbs. Connection speeds will depend on distance between router and clients and the number of walls signal has to pass through.
  10. Trustedinstaller.exe

Found this using web search: http://www.exe-error-fixes.com/disable-trustedinstallerexe/
  11. You can try converting PDF to jpg using app from here: http://www.pdf-to-jpg.com/ and then convert jpg to black+white.
  12. Wifi Help

I think you'll have to get a matching Netgear usb wifi dongle. I had a similar problem using a Belkin MiMo-G dongle to connect to a Belkin N150 router; worked for a little while then crashed the router. A lower level dongle, say a g-type can connect to an n-type router; my wife's laptop connects with a g-type dongle to the N150 with no problem.
  13. Sorry did not make myself clear. Looks like you disabled the wireless card; enable it in "Network Connections" and you should see wireless network again. You need to set up the router to connect to your service provider (ISP). Use explorer and address or to connect to router and select "connection type" to enter ISP data. You may have a setup disk from service provider to do this.
  14. Possible For Wireless Card To Get Worse Over Time?

You're getting interference from somewhere. Try changing wireless channel on router.
  15. Outlook Express

Try rebooting PC. I had similar problem where I could receive mail but not send it.
