Morning..My wife's ipad drops our wifi connection at times, then she can't get back on.  We go to settings where our family wifi is located, then says our password isn't valid which is bull because it's been the same for years!  Then the next day she's back on out of the blue??  Is there a setting or something I can do to stop this from happening?? I believe it's a ipad 3.  Thanks!!

Hi Skippy,

If you haven't resolved this yet, here are a couple of things to try.

Go into settings and insure that Bluetooth is off as well as Airplane mode.

See if the wifi works more consistently.

If it doesn't, then go back and turn off the wifi on the ipad as well and reboot, then go and turn it back on to reestablish it.

Any better?

:) Y

Better late than never!

The Ipad 2 and issues with wifi antenna stinks bad, Daughter busted glass on her pad, Kind of glad, gave me the excuse to replace antenna as well, after which no more drops.

Though changing themes seem daunting?

You can try methods below to fix the Wi-Fi connection issue.

1. Forget Wi-Fi and rejoin
2. Force Restart
3. Toggle off Wi-Fi Assist
4. Reset Network Settings
6. Disable Wi-Fi Networking Services
