you need to enable file sharing not the stupid "homegroup" thing that windows 7 does. Once you have normal file sharing enabled then you can share the directory where the videos are.

Microsoft blew its right foot off with Windows 8.
They went to the doctor to get it reattached with Windows 8.1 only to wake up to find out that a second left foot was attached in place.

http://www.skyuser.c...wirelessly.html might help you.. stupid question maybe but are you sure your ps3 is connecting wirelessly to your router?? eg. can you get on the internet with it?? assuming your doing everything correctly here's a couple of things to try.. setting static ip address for ps3 in router.. setting different broadcast channel number for router.. updating ps3 firmware.. can't really think of anything else to try, not having a ps3 myself, does it work when connected by wire? if yes then maybe something like these home plugs might be the way to go.. http://www.homeplugs.co.uk/ :b33r:

cant really add how to get it to "see" the PS3 but i will recommend PS3 Media Server over TVersity any day. TVersity did not work half the time and server connection lost alot. that happens a little with the PS3 Media Server, but you still can watch the movies  not to mentuion PS3 Media Server reads alot more codecs then TVersity
