I'm using my older laptop again as I re-connected my wi-fi network, but what would you say is the best browser to run on an old system? Opera? I've heard others say Firefox's XUL interface is slows it down on an old system (I use FF on my newer system though).

Old system in ques -

Mozila firefox should run fine on that. if useing windows fastest is Internet Explorer, becuse it's intergrated into windows. if you like firefox it should work fine on that system.

Wow, you consider that an old system? It blows mine outta the water as far as RAM and processing power goes. :thud:

As far as a browser goes, any of these should be fine:

K-meleon
Slim Browser
Firefox
Opera
SeaMonkey
Netscape

But it's a Celeron with only 128 KB L2 cache.

That's brutal these days.

I'll probably stay with Opera, but look at some others. Thanks.
